Use groups to organize people in Awardco by team, location, department, or shared interest. You can use groups to find group-related spaces and take part in group-based communication when your company has it set up.
Note: Awardco Connection is currently in early access and may not be available on your platform yet. To check whether your team has access to using Groups, please reach out to your internal Awardco administrator or team lead. Broader availability is planned for later.

What are Groups?
Groups help organize employees in Awardco based on things like team, department, location, or shared interests. Some groups may also have their own group page for updates, resources, and announcements.
Groups can be either public or private with membership being managed or open.
Why join Groups?
Groups make it easier to keep people connected around shared work, communities, and interests. They can also support targeted communication and help people see the groups someone belongs to in Awardco.
What Can You Do With Groups?
Here are the main ways groups can affect your experience in Awardco.
- See groups on user profiles when your company uses that feature.
- Be part of public or private groups, depending on how the group is set up.
- Receive group-based communication when your company uses groups for announcements.
- Use a group page when one has been set up for your group.
- Groups are also eligible for recognition, so an individual can recognize all members of a public group.
